John Callister

John’s media career began in 1979 when he joined the staff of BBC Northern Ireland to train as a film editor. He later became a producer/director and after 12 years, left the BBC and set up his own independent production company.  By 1982 with his career going well he planned to leave Northern Ireland due to the Troubles and transfer to London. However, while researching for a potential BBC documentary he interviewed the founder of the Corrymeela Community, Ray Davey.  That encounter changed everything.

About Me

Writer, traveller, photographer, and mother

Born in Toronto to immigrant parents, we quickly learned to adapt while celebrating the tapestry of cultures in our beautiful city. Settling down in the city centre, we love exposing our kids to the same diverse upbringing my husband and I received.

Whether it’s makeup, fashion, travelling, food, and arts, I love to explore the great adventure that life is!
